» 03/26/2007	The Eastern Shore Technology Council (ESTC), the eastern shore arm of the Mid Atlantic Region Information & Technology Association cooperative (MARITA) and technology council to the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, announces the debut of the first annual Technology Resource Guide for Worcester, Somerset, and Wicomico counties.   Beacon Technologies, Inc. will manage the publishing process of the Technology Resource Guide including graphic design, content development, advertising sales, production, customer service, printing, and distribution in conjunction with the ESTC Technology Guide committee.   Ten thousand copies of the Technology Resource Guide will be distributed throughout Worcester, Somerset, and Wicomico counties in local technology businesses, libraries, chamber's of commerce, business resource centers, economic development offices and institutions of higher education. The premier release date for the 2007 directory is scheduled for late February.

The LSBC is a member owned, not-for-profit cooperative that provides last mile ISP services to rural parts of the Delmarva Peninsula. The LSBC currently has installed wireless, highspeed internet access service to 473 square miles in Worcester County, Maryland.
